About

✌️ I'm Mika. A product design partner who uses craft, AI and code to create dead-simple, elegant & user-friendly solutions to the most demanding digital challenges.

I've spent the last decade specializing in system design and B2B apps with method and passion while living most of my free time outside in Les Pyrénées with my 2 kids.

Common questions

I limit myself to three projects at a time so quality doesn't slip. Budget depends on project scope. Feel free to reach out for more information.

After years across different industries and roles in digital design, I love managing design systems most: finding coherence across scattered elements. Design engineering is where I feel at home, working closely with developers on a team, remote. I prefer startups where B2B and AI meet.

My tool stack has been shifting a lot lately. Historically, Figma for design work (ideation, UX flows, mockups), Obsidian for note-taking and problem framing, VS Code as my IDE, Claude Code as my coding companion. These days tools and process are blending together, and I find myself designing straight in the browser more and more, for better visualization and empathy with the final output, as close as possible to what a user actually experiences.

I'm self-taught and self-driven, and I learned design and product principles the hard way. I dig into complex processes easily and ramp up fast on new domains or technologies. I like short production cycles with a deliverable at the end of each one, so nothing holds up your roadmap.

I work remotely to keep a healthy balance between work and life, but I'll travel anywhere in France for important meetings. If you're near Toulouse, I'll stop by the office to say hi.

A sprint is a one-off, defined project: a clear deliverable (plus an animated prototype), tightly scoped and fast.

  1. Understand the product and users before moving a single pixel
  2. Set up and execute the strategic plan
  3. Async iteration with daily updates on your channel of choice (or Figma comments)
  4. Once the static design is validated, move into animated prototyping for key interactions. For branded landing pages, clean-code animation can ship directly to production

An ongoing collaboration where I'm embedded in your team, tools and workflows, shipping features continuously — design system, production, maintenance.

  1. Understand the product, the organization and the users before moving a single pixel
  2. Define scope, ownership and responsibilities, so everyone knows who owns what from day one
  3. Onboard onto your tools, rituals and workflows: Slack, Figma, ticketing, whatever runs your team
  4. Start shipping within the week: scalable UI design, flow work, feature delivery, design system maintenance, reviews and production handoff
  5. Stay embedded with a recurring cadence of design output, so your roadmap never waits on design

We've just scratched the surface…

Let's build something great.
